At Families Forward Resource Center, we truly believe that the youth of our communities are instrumental in creating vibrant, strong, and healthy communities. We offer youth based programs to foster education and positive development.
Some of the programs we offer include Kathy’s Kamp Summer Camp, Youth Leadership Squad, and a partnership with the Denver Police Department and Denver Public Safety.
KATHY’S KAMP SUMMER CAMP
Each summer for over 20 years, Families Forward Resource Center has run a full-service, full-experience summer camp called Kathy’s Kamp. Kathy’s Kamp provides a low cost option for child-care throughout the summer months and offers a rewarding, social, and educational experience for our over 150 daily participants. The camp schedule offers flexibility for parent’s schedules. CCAP is accepted and breakfast and lunch are provided by Denver Public Schools.
Kathy’s Kamp was named after our founder, Kathy Hill-Young. Families Forward Resource Center is a licensed Child Care Provider.
