Families Forward Resource Center (FFRC) is a full service community service center providing supportive services and programs to northeast Denver and north Aurora metro areas. FFRC has been serving the far northeast communities in the Aurora/Denver metro area for over 20 years. As one of 32 family resource centers through Family Resource Center Association, FFRC operates as a collaborative organization and in partnership with other family resource centers in Colorado.
General Position Description:
The Data and Quality Assurance Specialist position supports FFRC’s leadership team, program staff, and evaluator in maintaining and managing the data systems at FFRC, and is responsible for identifying efficient ways to organize, store, and analyze data with attention to quality improvement efforts, meeting program performance goals, and addressing program staff concerns. Also, the Data and Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for supporting the success of programs within FFRC to measure and evaluate success of program deliverables, and make recommendations about the methods and ways in which data is obtained from various sources, and interpret patterns and trends for quality improvement and efficiency of data systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze and interpret data, and report outcomes to leadership and program staff, and stakeholder groups.
- Identify patterns and trends in data sets, and define new data collection and analysis processes for quality improvement.
- Generate reports and data extraction, when needed.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
- Manage databases, oversee data entry, and perform data entry as needed.
- Support staff with data functions and daily use of data collection and data system. • Collaborate with external consultants to optimize evaluation and data-driven efforts.
General Tasks and Responsibilities
- Actively participate in FFRC meetings in a positive, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain professionalism in line with FFRC’s values and policies.
- Maintain high level of confidentiality as it relates to the agency and all
records/documents.
- Assist in development of programmatic reports to key stakeholders, including funders.
- Develop and monitor regular outcome and evaluation measures for project goals. • Perform other program coordination, support, management or administrative duties as may be assigned.
- Work with state and local-level public health agencies and external evaluator to compile and disseminate community health data for use by community residents and other
partners.
- Ensure data fidelity through data collection efforts using community-based participatory research, family development strategies, and community engagement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in public health, computer science, information technology, or relevant field.
- 1-3 years of work experience in a database-oriented position.
- Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions.
- Familiarity with modern database and information systems, including Saleforce.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Possess a tech-saavy, analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in planning, implementing, managing, and timely completion of projects with multiple tasks.
- Strong judgement, decision-making and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with others including peers, internal and external managers, community groups and other stakeholders.
- Ability to document and communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects, and to assess and change priorities based upon agency needs.
- Strong skills working with ad-hoc and formal teams to accomplish positive results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree in public administration, public health, computer science or relevant field.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- This position is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. This position has flexibility as to which workdays per week (i.e. five 8 hour days or four 10 hour days).
- Compensation Range: $40,500 – $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this position is mostly remote. When restrictions are
lifted, the position may shift to in-office for the majority of the time. CNDC has a

- Normal business hours are Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm. Occasional
